"I'm looking at the pouring rain, Miss"
"You do love the rain, don't you?"
"Yes of course, the air become cool and fresh because of the rain"
"Come on, don't get to close to the rain, you'll get wet Fan"
"Okey, okey Miss"
His words made me enjoy the rain that afternoon, the rain was never so great like that time, the wind blew up, the air was so cool and the situation was so peaceful.....suddenly I forgot that once I ever felt so bored sitting like this one and doing the teaching, the rain has replaced my bad memory.....
Irfan also fond of everything about weather, he chose the article about storm for science assignment. And did a well done presentation about the storm. He could explain the storm quite good.
Sometimes, he moved from his chair and walked in front of me. Next he stood a while and looked out to the window. "What are you doing Fan?"
"I'm looking at the weather Miss"
"So, what's the weather today?"
"It's going to be rain, look! It's cloudy"
"Yes, it is, Okey, now sit down please!"
Once I came to say hi to my friend who was sick, we talked a lot about her illness and the silver cloud behind it. I thought for a while when she said, my illness might be a reminder for the healthy one to be grateful of her condition. I just replied, yes you are right.
She is my senior and one of the smartest person in our department. But, she had not finished her final paper yet, because of her bad illness, the illness that made her couldn't walk again. She could be promoted to be an assistant, she could be graduated with cum laud grade, she could reach anything, but it's not happened. And she was really patient in facing all of those things. I never heard any complain out of her mouth. She just said Allah had decided something good for me. My tears were beginning to fall but I hold it. Her words made me think a lot at that time.
Later on, I got a message telling me that she's already get married. I was so surprised to hear that. I even more surprised to know that she's teaching now at medical department in one of the state universities in Bandung. She could walk again now and it's because of her belief on Allah. She beliefs that Allah hear us and we could do something if we try it hard. I was really happy to hear that, she deserves to get all of those things, or even more. all of the good things that I thought would not happen to her is just has not happened yet.
I always remember when she said, even God create bad man to remind us on something, reminding us to be a good person and all of your bad deeds will turn back to you, I miss you sis...I miss the time when I go to your room and astonished with your cassettes and CD's collection, your interesting books, your stories, etc. May Allah puts us as a neighbor in his castle in heaven....
A Thousand Splendid Sun
I read a good novel, the title is A Thousand Splendid Sun by Khaled Hosseini. That novel tells about woman fight in the conflict area (war). Afganistan is moslem country. The citizen had experience too much suffering. Starting from the invasion of Uni Soviet, Civil war (under power of Taliban) and the last invasion of United of American (USA).
Under power of Taliban, whole of women are prohibitive to exit from their house except the companion with mahram. To get education, health is big illusion for them at the time. If the women want to be born and sacrifice for war, they are not finding suitable service because medicine, doctor, nurse, facilities are very limited.
Most of family in Afgan must deliver their son to be soldier or part of their lovely family to be sacrificed of war. The women and children from the conflict area are very misery. They are always afraid and worried of a bomb explosion. Most of families think about evacuation to neighbor country. They hope to get better life in Afgan. But not all family could get exit from Afgan. To move to neighbor country is not easy.
That novel tells about women. Maybe the author has a mission for women emancipation. But I’m sure in islam, women have the same right with men. The rule women and men have known from Al-quran and As-sunnah. But I hope there’s no war in the world. I want to tell you how much Allah grace to us. We must say many thanks to Allah.

3. Visit a new place and stay a while there.. like Puncak or Lembang ( Stayed a night in Puncak and enjoyed the nice view was quite interesting)
4. Join a new occasion like a seminar, a training etc...
5. Eat your favorite food or beverage like ice cream, potato chips... ( Try to please yourself by doing this....but be careful of being fat)
6. Do your hobbies, your old hobby or new hobby...it will make you busy for a while ( I try to do some knitting in my skirt...not so bad)

"A servant of Allah will remain standing on the Day of Judgment till he is questioned:
about his age and how he spent it;
and about his knowledge and how he utilized it;
about his wealth from where he acquired it and in what (activities) he spent it;
and about his body as to how he used it."
Allah...ya Allah...
Allah is my destiny
In this world and here after
Your affection is pouring on
To your creation
Every time
I want to think of you
But why it's so hard?
My heart is blind from the truth of life
Allah...please help me
Your servant...
To get Your love always
